My New Motor, an AXI 4120-14.

This shows the basic motor. It would mount with rotor behind the firewall & the shaft sticking through. Note that the wires come out the front and must pass around the motor.

This shows the motor mounting bracket bolted to the motor. now the bare shaft goes back through the firewall and the propeller adapter bolts to the rotating part of the AXI Motor. This allows the motor to mount in front of the firewall. Now the wires exit behind the rotating parts of the motor.
